but (off topic) with so many important issues on this planet, did a thread like this really stand a chance?

here's my idea: a discussion where every post must somehow get (you guessed it)
"Off Topic"!
sound stupid? yes, very. will this be locked? moved to Garbage? who knows. will it be a big waste of time? most definitely.
BTW what's a good cappuccino machine?
