my laptop is not sending gif files to my phone.for eg...i was sending a 70kb gif picture to my phone and it showed 25kb sending....on getting the pic,i see it as a still image and its details also show it as a jpeg pic.wats the problem??
but,i can send the gif files to my phone through ir successfully.

well i downloaded a gif picture from se official website.the details of the pic show it as a gif file in the comp.i send it via bt...and the picture is a still image in the phone.the details of the pic in the phone show it as a jpeg file.so i dint do anything to the pic extension.

mrao...i thught that gif files were not working in the phone.then i saw that only 29kb instead of 70 kb was being sent.so thats why a mobile phone "free" thread.wait am coming home..

Are you using service pack 2? If so, you might need to install your original BT drivers again, SP2 makes a right mess of your BT setup.

Yes, SP2 does make a mess of it.... there is a guide in one of these many threads on getting rid of it...
