A friend of a friend of mine has the same problem with her k500i. She wants to change SIM cards so badly but she couldn't pry off the back cover. My friend advised her to go to a service center but she's afraid she might be considered stupid by the staff members there!

When I got my s700, before i sold it 2 days later, i could not for the LIFE of me open the battery cover. I swore i was doing it wrong. Finally, I checked the manual one last time, saw that it just said "push it off" or whatever, and used the might of GOD to get it off. Swore i'd break it, but instead it came off. I did scartch a little paint while trying to use a key to pry it off.
All in all a bad design.

wish every one go through the manual ...or at least ask the shop keeper or whomever you bought the phone to explain its features and its usage....it saves a lot of time...
