You need a data account to use email. A data account does NOT mean your wap/GPRS account, but a seperate account. Most providers (if not all) offer this account. I tried to email on my T65 too, but i emailed SonyEricsson after i was sick of trying to get my Email function to work. They told me i needed a data account.

This is very easy. Just create a account in
http://www.Vizzavi.co.uk for free. After just contact you mobile ISP and request the GPRS service to be activated. Then request the pop3 and smtp details from vizzavi. Insert them on your mobile and that's it.
In vizzavi you can setup three more accounts, I think yahoo is included.
I have a similar mobile and I can assure you that this works very well.
