They sure will, but only permanently if you don't have a backup

by ugrading the fon will it erase all of documents?

when I upgraded to the last firmware R4A10 it did NOT restore my contacts nor sms'es, and I basically LOST all of it! I did restore all the rest tho'
so better export all your contacts as vcf to a file before doing the upgrade, their backup software seems not 100% reliable!
