Ive noticed that if the camera flip thing is brought down the phone goes into camera mode even if the keys are locked.
Why is this.

we can only guess that your physical action of opening the cover is considered to be the same as pressing the key unlock sequence and IMHO it makes alot of sense and I like it!

I didnt like this feature at first because i thought the cover would open on its own at times, and in doing so waste battery power.
Mines never opened on its own once in a months ownership though.

Mines always opening, I use the mp3 in the background all the time and when i feel to skip a track i keep opening the camera draining the battery more.

You could always just stick a bit of tape on there if you were crazy-worried about it, or turn the phone off.
