I need more memory for my S710A I've been looking around - the largest capacity I could find is only 128MB. The phone takes the Sony Memory Stick Duo. I can find a 512 and even a 1GB stick, but it's called Sony Memory Stick Duo Pro.......Doese anyone know if they are compatible with the S710A or am stuck with the 128MB?
Thanks

I guess my friend we're both stuck with 128mb. I have a a Z1010, and it's the largest capacity it can recognize. One trick though, I converted my mp3 to lower bitrates (about 500kb-1mb per song) since i listen to them on the loudspeaker, so I can accomodate more songs.

The S700i and S710a are both limited to 128mb only. Sorry.

That sucks.....I guess I'll be trading in my S710A for the W600A when it comes out. It doesn't have a slot for expanding the memory, but it at least comes with 256MB.
Thanks for letting me know etaab

Yeah, that's true, but it's a pain to switch the sticks.
Your suppose to turn the phone off before you insert or remove them. I don't understand why they limited the capacity. I love the phone - That's the only gripe I have about it.

Oh, ok. I though I read something about turning it off before removing/inserting in the manual.

A couple of things:
a) Has anyone TRIED a Duo Pro in the S710a? (Don't always believe everything you read..?)
b) Is there any likelihood that Duo (non-Pro) will ever exceed 128MB?
Also, I read somewhere someone's complaint that the MP3 player had no volume control. I've found that to not be true (just use the iris buttons on the top of the phone). Or maybe that's just documented somewhere and I was too stupid to find it. I just figured it out by myself.
