Hi Guys
I have had a good look around the forum to see if I could get any of my questions answered. Most of them have but the one's I'm not sure on, I would like some feedback.
1 - I own a P900 UK and wanted to know where I can get it upgraded to a P910i (P905 I believe) and what advantages and disadvantages it has. I did read BT don't work with headsets, but the memory goes up.
2 - I am thinking about purchasing Route 66 P900 edition as due to a 128mb limit size. If I purchase this without the GPS hardware, can I use it with a different receiver, such as a TomTom, or is it specific to 66.
3 - Any facia's around that have the Sony Ericsson writing above the screen, as the lot on eBay dont have this.
4 - P900 only allows one BT connection, if I was to get this firmware upgrade to P910i (P905) could I use BT with more than one device?
5 - Is Route 66 any good really????????

I've never used Route 66 so don't know about that.
I had my old P900 flashed with P910 f/w (& subsequently made up the P905 name

) by handymobilez uk on here, highly recommended.
I've lost count how many times I've posted this AND the adv & disadv of the P905 so u must not have searched hard enough.
but...
-some BT headsets work, most don't
-no, it won't be able to handle multiple BT connections
-yes u can expand the external memory as it allows use of PRO Duo, the largest currently available is 2GB

To #1 as M said there is somebody here on the forum who does it. He is in the London area.

To Q. # 3:
I generally wouldn't trust any of the facias that aren't OEM. Lots of people have bought colored ones from different sources and have had trouble fitting them on their phones or have had to do extensive modifications to make them work. Generally, the only way I would suggest getting a new color is by painting a housing, but don't do this unless you are confident in your ability to paint and take the case apart.
