I had my second brand new p910i because i lost my old one, and i had it for just 3 weeks, now, the colour on the keypad (at the corner) starts to fade away.
I can say i am a careful user, and i just leave my p910 in my trousers pocket. I think the quality is really crxP!
What can i do? Claim under warranty>>?
Got it from CPW.

It must be just that particular handset. I have had mine now for 7 months and it's still in tip top condition - no problems! Did you have any problems with your previous one?

Yeah same problem, and also two corners next to 'Sony Ericsson' plate is badly faded away. By the way, it happened about 3 months after I purchase it.
But my new one, not even 3 weeks, and the colour starts to fade away...
I had many phone (SE + other brands) and had no problem with the colour (unless more than 1 yr).
Is there something about 28 days exchange in CPW?

I assume u mean the paint is wearing off?
There is not a hope in hell they will replace it or that the warranty covers it & to be honest nor should it.

I assume the corners are rubbing off in his pants. Rough pocket inserts or lots of movement.

The pocket could be the culprit. Or...... chemicals??? while at work or home. Theses may stay in ones finger tips.
I remeber some years ago. I applied the chemical called "Off " to repel mosquitos. some of it was left on my fingers and it erased all the numbers on my phone after several minutes of texting. The residue of the chemicals caused, what nail remover does to nails.

Yeah, I had the same problem with my 910a. A couple weeks after I bought it, the paint wore off the bottom corners (I don't use the flip). The flip replacement cover also got thrashed. I never had that problem with my P800 or P900. So, I figured the paint on the 910 was pretty weak. But, I noticed I kept feeling sand in the pockets of my new Levi's 501 jeans. I guess "stone washed" really means sand washed. So, I suppose the sand did a number on the paint. Anyway, now I'm trying to find a place in the US where I can buy an new flip replacement cover. Any ideas?

blas, try this website. It's in the UK, but they seem to have a lot of stuff for Pxxx and they have replacement keypads too. I haven't dealt with them myself though.
