how do u go to a specific page of a thread without passing 40 pages to get to pg 41?!?! thanks

One way of doing that is to manually edit the address bar of your browser to your desired address. Say, if you want to go to post number 1700 of a 5000 posts long thread, you can manually edit the address where the post number is displayed. I hope you get me! Is this what you're lookin for?
