I know that there are a lot of topics and replies about this subject but I can't find a solution for my problem. I have read every source that I find, but I couldn't upgrade my k750i. My firmware version is R1A044. I have installed the PCSuite and update service USB drivers, I followed the instructions on the SonyEricsson update page but when it begins to update it says "error in communication with the device". I attached the screenshot,so you can see the problem.

Somebody help please...

i think i made a mistake with mine. Should I eject the hardware first before I actually unplug it from the USB cable?

Nothing happened when I plugged my phone back into the USB cable and when I tried to shutdown the application it said that the program was waiting for my input that's why it's not responding.

was able to get it to work. When plugging your phone through USB for the first time, don't use the drivers in the CD, go get the drivers here instead...

Once you get it to work you can go here to do the update.

And when the upgrader tells you to turn off the phone and press the C button before connecting the USB cable, let go of the C button right after you plug it in or the upgrader will not work. You'll know it's working if your phone doesn't turn on and the upgrader proceeds.
