> O2 GRPS not working! help
Bookmark topic
Hi, Ive been an member on Esato for awhile but lost my details so reregisted so am not exactly a new poster.
Now here the problem, since this morning I have been unable to acess O2 GRPS (yes free, It has been ever since I got my p900 in december 2003)
First I would get a greyed out GPRS unatached, tryed restarting got the same, then no GPRS at all. Tapping on the signal strenth says
GPRS:Unavailable
(Temporarily unavailable)
Its been like this all day, my question is, Is it me or has anyone else experianced this problem today? Am I alone with this problem? If so what can I do to fix it.
Thanks
Dharmesh

No problems with mine, I've sometimes had a problem where I can't get onto GPRS for a few hours, probably a network problem. A lot of people say you can't get the O2 GPRS free, but so far mine on my O2 contract is still free! Can't comment on the 'proxy' free one on payg though

Thanks for the replys,
Same again today, after numerous restating of phone, switching phone function off with flight mode I got GPRS to work...... for % minutes and then it stopped working agian.
Never had this porblem before GPRS has always work and has always been 100% free.
Starting to annoy me now.
Do you hink its worth giving O2 a call, or will it lead to them looking at my GPRS activity seeing as they should have been charging for it.

Just to let you know its working fine again, maybe it was a network problem as suggested. Back to free GPRS
