Yesterday I dropped into the local

service point (Carphone Warehouse in South London). I kindly asked if I can hand in my T68i so that the latest version of firmware (currently using R2B025) could be upgraded. Guess what reply I received: I am afraid sir T68i has already got the latest firware version. I told him a million times about R2F004 but he just did NOT seem to get it. In the end I just walked out and thought that I can easily become the manager of Carphone Warehouse..
Any of you who work for Carphone Warehouse??
And anyone who can advise me on how to get an upgrade for the firmware... thanks in advance

Phone up one of their service centres - Oxford Street, Richmond-Upon Thames etc. (look on their website). I know these 2 branches can upgrade your firmware.
In the past they expanded so fast that shop assistants quickly became managers of new branches! The people you spoke to are salespeople. They are not technical people. They are also not that impartial as they have a very good comission system that encourages them to sell certain tariffs rather than the best for the customer, but that's another story.
