No matter what I do (I know my details are correct and I know my wap works) but my email (pop3) never works.
It just never connects to the server and error messages.
Is there some sort of config file I need to request for it to work?

generally you need a full internet connection for pop3 email and wap connections are not enough. there are a few exceptions (can't remember exactly what) but thats the general rule

yup..you need full web gprs for pop3 mail to work the way it should....what email service are you trying to set up, though?
