Hi there,
I have a t68 on Orange at the moment and was wondering if it was possible to use a sim card from another network in it. You see all these Pay as you Go sim packs around to buy now and was wondering if it was possible to do?
Reason I ask is because all these Orange traits pre-built onto the phone are leading me to believe its not possible.
Cheers for any help
Justin

if the phone is sim locked on Orange you can only use Orange sim cards in the phone unless you ulock it.

I got it from new so I should assume its locked?
Do you have to go to a dealer for unlocking?

you can check if it is locked or not..
enter the servicemenu by pressing
right * left left * left *
Then:
Service info ->
SIMlock
If all locks are opened the phone is unlocked.

... meaning it's Orange locked... I don't know what the deal is in you country about "paying for freedom" (i.e. unlocking it for a charge) but make a search around Esato and you might find some more info, or contact Orange
