In 1984, Ferrari released the Testarossa with massive air intakes ahead of the rear wheels. The joke at the time was that they included the side strakes (those long thin horizontal ridges) to prevent small boys being sucked in. A couple of years later, Walter Koenig got a hold of a Testarossa, added 2 turbo's, an F40 style wing and removed the side strakes to create the 700hp Koenig Competition. Later 'Evolution' versions had 1000hp. Michael Jackson was one of his customers...
