For those with a K750 that would like to have a W800 without buying a new phone, W800 that work on the K750 have now been released by one team who writes "Phone Flashing" software.
So if you have a K750 and would like to try out owning a W800, find someone who has the "Cruiser" flashing program and ask them to do it for you.
Tim

I'm not sure I understand your question.
The W800 firmware that is available at the moment is R1K005.
Even though the phone may not be released yet, that doesn't stop the Firmwares for it from appearing on EMMAII/EMMAIII (SE's "online" service centre software)
Sadly I don't have a K750 here with me at the moment to test this, but as soon as I do get one I'll let you know how it goes (no doubt others will beat me to it, I'm looking at you gbrooks3)

I doubt it cuz the firmware of W800 still could possibly change when it is actually released.
If it is so, it will affect to the market of W800.
I can't wait for W800 and hope that K750 couldn't be flashing with W800 firmware, forever...

The hardware in these phones is exactly the same as each other, it's just how they look physically, the bits and pieces they're supplied with and the firmware that's on them that's different.
The flash that's happening is here is prett much the same thing that's happened with the P900->P910 flashes that were released (this is by the same people), though in this case it's even simpler.
Also: This will not affect the market for the W800. Only a very few people with access to a special program can flash these files, this is not something your local service centre will offer! Also, the main appeal of the W800 is going to be the accessories it comes with and the look of it... It's only use techies that realise that's jus fluff, it's the hardware and firmware that makes a phone a good phone.

Why?
Remember this is only available to people who know someone with the Cruiser software (and I guess soon other softwares such as Davinci etc)
*MOST* people are going to buy the phone because of how it looks and it's features. It's only those that have already bought a K750 that might consider getting this done, a new phone purchaser is going to want the new W800 as it looks physically different and comes with more accessories.
All the W800 flash adds to your K750 is: (taken from another post in another forum, not my words here)
* 'Mobile Walkman' - button connected to the media player.
* Music mode (same as flight mode).
* Different media player (better) than K750.
* Possibility to connect to external equipment such as hi-fi or car stereo.
* Event calendar (maybe K750 has this already? Don't know).
You didn't see the P900->P910 upgrade stop the mass sales of the P910 now, did you?
