> my mac is becoming slow

over the last week or so my mac has become fairly slow at loading web pages and programs etc etc, it takes longer to respond
i am absolute rubbish were both pc's and macs are concerned
i have deleted the history in safari and i have used disk utility to check for problems
what else should i do to get my baby back to its best

dunno much about amc, but have they got some sort of 'temp' directory cos if they do, try emptying dat - worked for my pc
i ehar macs r virus free but dunno bout spy/adware so check for dat....hmmm any sort of disk defragmenter? do the property thingy on ya mac hdd and see there...dunno what else really

just want it to speed up abit
may be a good idea to add more ram, but im to scrared to open it up

i only have safari and msn messenger open
and i only ever have 5-6 programs running at once
it seems to have got abit better
i have gone to the temp folder t empty that but there is nothing there
