Is there a way to automatically sync word documents and excel documents that I want to modify either by phone or by my laptop?
Do I need a separate program for this? I would appreciate any help on this subject thanks.

what do you mean by syncing excel & word docs...you need to have Quickoffice or documents to go, on your phone though

as long as you have these apps, all you have to do is send the files to your phone over whatever connection type you use (cradle or bluetooth)
Basically connect your phone, open the P910 explorer link, and drag whatever documents you want onto the either the phone memory or the Card memory and the phone will automatically put them in the right folder.
Your P910 should automatically have Quickword and Quicksheets if you have R4A10 firmware.

Yeah,
I am looking for a way to sync the documents from my laptop to my phone. For example. I edit certain documents constantly and would like to have them sync up to date every time I sync my phone with my laptop. Similar to having my calendar and appointment sync everytime I sync but, with certain word and excel documents.
Is this possible?? Thanks for all the generous replies I appreciate it.

I haven't seen an application that does this yet.
Now I do have a theoretical solution. You can install perl on your laptop then write scripts that will save all excel and word documents in a certain folder to your phone. The final step would be to make the scripts auto-execute every time you connect your phone to your laptop. Its technical and I have never seen it done, but its worth a try. (Bear in mind this is all theoretical. Since windows doesn't recognize the P910 as a Plug-n-Play device, I don't know if it will run auto-execute scripts.)
I know plenty of people that do nearly the same thing with their iRiver DAPs.

I don't believe you can do that automatically for the time being, because the phone is not seen as a disk by windows.
Only an application made specifically for UIQ like "PC File Manager" (epocware) or something made by SE would do the trick.
