on the flash presentation on the se website for the p910 it demonstrates this homescreen feature which is a bit like tracker, and makes it more like a pocket pc, iv not seen a p910 with this , do they have this?! also do the p905s have this? it seems a great feature!

if you go from flip closed screen to flip open
using tracker -> you will see the application list before the tracker comes into focus
using sonyericsson desktop -> you will go directly to the desktop

it may be a small thing, but it anoys me that the tracker shows the application list a second.

just one question though folks- how can you uninstall it- i cant find where it is in my files- I tried the application after reading your posts- but although I like it and the fact it gets rid of the orange homescreen icon I dont like the fact that I can use the jog dial across the top toolbar if this is installed

@Silkwood there is a thread floating around somewhere from when SEDT was released. There were tons of us trying it on various phones. I recall people getting it working on a P900 flashed with P910 software, with a few little hiccups. I can't honestly recall if it works on a normal P900, but I am inclined to say no.

Have a search around for that thread. I will also try to find it.

Found the thread:

Also it seems that it does work on P900, but some of the functionality is limited. I remember some P900 people having trouble with the wrong icon showing up.
