Does anyone know how to copy JAVA games/apps from my PC to my mobile via USB?

I have a Sony Ericsson K300i and a USB adabtor.
I am using the Sony Ericsson File Manager, which allows me to copy files to and from the following directories:

Pictures
Sounds
Video
Themes
Other

I have been able to transfer mp3s and images to the phone. But I have been having problems downloading JAVA games and APPS to the phone. I have tried putting them in the Other folder. I can then see them on the phone but I can not move or run them!

Can you help?

why dont you download them diretly thru wap....there are tons of wap sites hosting games...1 google mobile web search should lay them out for you

Just copy the game u want and paste on root (my phone/my phone memory, where all the sub folder/directory be 'pics, theme, etc.') ur phone automatically prompt u to select to save the file in games or apps folder -- this is how i do for my k500 and sure this works for u too :) This message was posted from a K750

that's also the problem in my k700i, ive d/l the java games and other applications via bluetooth and when i use it it doesnt run..

i have a K300i and a usb data cable but my PC does not recognise the phone even though i have the suitable software which came with it. It does how ever find the cable when it is plugged in. Why does it not recognise my mobile?
