Ideally with any auction just decide the most you are willing to pay, put on that bid and ignore it until after the closing date!l
Have you put the fact that you need a P800 here:

"Will the auction end at $2?" is the same question as "How long is a piece of string?" No-one knows. And to think that it will end at $2 is stupid/borderline retarded anyway.
For a start the p800 is underpriced NOT overpriced, $60 is cheap for a phone of it's capabilities.
On eBay in the UK the prices are about:
P800 - £80
P900 - £125
P910i - £190
I think they are all underpriced seeing as what they are capable of doing, but of course new technologies get introduced and people's taste change...so prices drop.
I paid about £300 for a p800 (about $500 US) on eBay when it was first out, and AT THE TIME it was worth every penny, nowadays you could easily get a treo650 for that.
Not quite sure what i'm trying to say with all that....oh yeah, stop frikken complaining, if you really want the phone you'd pay a decent price for it instead of being such a stingy ****
OK?!

I can't understand why you want a broken P800.
If the price is an issue have you worked out wht it'll cost to repair a broken one you bought?
It might work out just as much to buy a working one.
Unless you can get it fixed on the cheap?

Yeah, but it requires superhuman levels of will power to
a) not go peeping anyway and
b) not raise your limit if some punter overbid you by 50 cents.
