Hi there!for anyone that can help me.=)
I have SEf500i, just visited esato today and I want to send themes to my phone. Accdng to it, I need to setup the WAP for me to do it directly on this site. But I got a message on my phone after I did the process, the message was "Settings not valid. Check with your provider and try again." What will I do then? And another thing, while reading on this site, it was stated that I can send the themes by bluetooth or infrared,my phone doesn't have bluetooth so obviously my only option id to send it by infrared, how can I do that?
I would certainly appreciate anyone who can share their knowledge about this.Thanx a lot and KUDOS to everybody!!!

Welcome to Esato....
are you being able to browse esato on your phone, or are you getting the error when you are trying to connect?
Coz if you are able to access esato wap on phone, you should also be able to download themes...I suggest you contact your operator for settings or you can also get them from the Sony Ericsson website.
Your 2nd question....Yes its possible to send files to the phone from your pc through IR or cable....you need to buy an IR adapter and install the drivers for it on your pc....then you can communicate with the phone through ir..send pics, ringtones, themes, games etc, which you download on your pc.

Hi Semper ! Looks like you have to either ASK your Mobile Operator to activate the GPRS facility or if already done that, Contact their Helpdesk. Maybe the handset settings are faulty.
Rest as Mrao has already put, should be a breeze.
What region are you ?
T-Mobile, Voda are good in Europe.
Looks like you are closer thou ?
