Does anyone know whether it cost battery when you put your P900 on the SyncStation or will the SyncStation charge the battery?

The mains charger conects to the syncstation (if you have it plugged in to the syncstation) so terefore, yes, it does charge the phone.

Without it, i ressume it uses a small amount of battery power.

i agree with the above. the ericsson cradle does not automatically charge your phone via USB power. xda/imates do charge through USB.

i've also found if my phone sits in the cradle all day the battery power reduces far quicker than if it wasn't.

the cradle is just like an usb cable, drains the batt faster. always charge the batt in off mode and with the normal charger, to get the optimal performance. in /// models can be noticed, that even u just connect the usb cable to the fone, the standby and talk time shows the half rate as normally.
