dude, for bsnl mobile, the tarrifs r good.other than that, for the ,the Coustomer care, their complaint regisrty, gprs &mms rtes r quite absurd.i have been complaining to the bsnl guys for the past 4-5 months that my plan 325 in cellone is not giving me the discounts as promised if i keep it for more than 6 months...am so fed up that i am switching the service.bsnl sux....and the people who r in charge of their website dont have any clue on wat they post on their website.
so for the final time,i tell u...dataone is broadband service given through bsnl landline (b-fone)
and cellone gprs is internet in bsnl mobile service.
if u dont belive it,go to the bsnl office near u,ask anyone...but to get the answer,it will take a month.
the bsnl gprs,in my area IS ALWAYS DOWN.its a rare sight to even see the gprs signal in any fone.
OK MODS....PLEASE LOCK THIS THREAD,AS THIS GUY IS TALKING ABOUT GETTING BROADBAND CONNECTION FROM HIS GPRS CONNECTION.

Hi All,
Are you aware of anyone using GPRS on bsnl prepaid. In Karnataka they have started but only activated for subscribers having 2000+Rs balance, ridiculous. Who will keep 2000 balance...
Looks like they dont want any subscribers...In neighbouring kerala the cap is just 200Rs.
Still if someone is using it, please share your experience. even postpaid users of bsnl karnataka(bangalore in particular) may share their experience.

Bsnl gprs is not so famous that anybody here may discuss much. They bsnl has just now started with lot of trouble. Minimum 2k is an additional PANGA.

As far as I know GPRS is not free, only the activation fee of Rs.50 has been waived off for the time being. In effect free gprs activation, monthly rentals and usage charges apply.
