> P910 or another phone for emails?
Bookmark topic
Hi Guys,
Im wondering what to do. My p800 is getting on a bit, but im looking for a better phone with PDA (i love using a stylus for typing messages).
What im really looking for is a faster way to download emails on the move, hence 3g would be excellent. Also, the P800 shows a very small amount of the email Title, so i sometimes dont know which ones to download to read as data costs lots on T Mobile UK so i dont want to donload the whole email every single time as i get lots of spam anyway.
Any ideas? I am thinking of getting p910i as i can get upgrade for free but then im stuck in a 1 year contract again with T Mobile. Is it worth the upgrade for pop3 email reading/sending? Or shall I wait for p1000 or similar before renewing contract with a new phone for another year.
Thanks Guys
Doz

i would wait for the p910 successor
it should have 3g so dowloading will be quicker, plus better camera and other features
if you dont mind having a contract then why not upgrade to the p910 and sell it and save the money for the next p series
thats what i am doing

Tbh i think the P910 email is very unreliable despite havin the firmware flashed couple of times. This wasnt a prob on my 900 however profilemail works flawlessly but thats not the point. So u may be disappointed with the mail engine on 910 so i wud wait for a newer model or buy a blackberry handset.

Hi, thx for replies.
I think im gonna take miss copperfield's advice and upgrade to the p910i

i never thought about selling the phone to pay towards the new one when it finally comes out

Thanks for advice...
Just one last thing. I use about 700 anytime to any network minutes and send about 100 texts a month, and receive about 100 email headers and view 10 emails a day. T Mobile seems expensive. As I can take a new contract now, any ideas on who is the best for me?

Go for the P910 right now. Who knows when the successor of it will be out.
