I recently flashed by Orange P910i to the latest firmware. I used to have Quickpoint installed on my memory stick but on the latest firmware it is built into the firmware.
I foolishly removed Quickpoint from my memory stick in order to save space but now Quickpoint has disappeared from the application list.
I've tried to re-install the Quickpoint SIS file downloaded from SE. This just results in an error saying that is is built in.
Is there any way short of a master reset I can get it back?
The problem being that if I master reset then restore from backups it'll probably disappear again.

have you tried to utility built into SMan called "fix applist"? I believe the purpose of this was to solve the problem of disappearing apps on the P800. Sounds like your problem may be similar.

It might possibly help but SMan only allows you to use this option on a P800, if it detects a P900/P910 it grays it out.
I think the problem on the P800 was that the phone wouldn't rebuild the applist often enough which is slightly different from things disappearing completely.

Did a restore of a recent back up work?

I had exactly the same problem, Orange p910i, missing quickoffice. No help from QO or SE. Still without the app. I complained to Orange about screwing with the phone and firmware, the Orange homepage is infuriating and the icons are pants compared to non-branded p910, no respone from Orange.
If they didn't keep giving me a free phone every year I'd go for another network to avoid this branding. Why mess about with the phone's operation? It's like printing off a lovely picture, then scrawling your name over it!
