Ok i've just bought a 1gb memory stick and now the question is do i copy all the folders from the old card to this one, and away i go?
And how do i format it if i need to?

Copy the entire content of your old card to your puter, format the new card in your phone, copy just the media-files from your puter into the new memory card to the right folders. Then you are you dont mess up anything. And you still have a backup on your old card.
