Hi,
what im after is some software to convert a MP4 track so you can use it as a ringtone for the phone any ideas?

Audacity will probably work... it can extract audio from mpeg and avi, as well as convert any audio to ogg, mp3 and wav... so I don't see why it wouldn't. Its freeware as well. Go to my site to get the download link.
