This morning I switched my p900 on and all what it does is showing the Sony Ericsson Logo then freezes !

I was wondering if there was a way to fix it my self instead of paying a fortune to fix it , especially that the warranty is over

Why not try the recovery feature on the SE website.

I had the same thinghappening to me on my P900 and hat to send it in. The recovery option might work if you can get it to communicate.

go to se website, products click p900 click product support then se update service and then follow the instructions from then on, you may be due for a firmware update anyway so check ur CDA for a newer version if not click on recovery.

another thing, you may experience a few errors when updating as in quote ' error comunicating with device remove battery and switch on and try again' it rarely works 1st time so jus keep trying it will work eventually and maybe even 1st time if ya lucky.
one more thing to note is switch of your pc's firewall when updating as it conflicts with the update program and wont work!
