Hey guys,i have a question.
I am interested in buying a T68 but don't know if i ahould wait until the "new" T68 arrives?
Does anyone know when this will happen?
Also if i buy the existing one and the only external change is the logo from ericsson to sonyericsson ,then will it be possible to change the covers with the new ones at the ericsson service centers?
Please answer!!!

T68i is not a NEW T68 but the name for the phones sold with the new software installed, for MMS and more. So You shouldn't have to wait, just get Your T68 and upgrade it as soon as the new software is available!

Yes i understood that, but along with the new firmware i heard that it will change also the logo over the screen fron ericsson to sonyerricson ,so my question was if i can change the cover later(when the new ones will come)
Iknow that there will be no hardware difference

Yes Nitron, you can change the cover of the phone, it is relativelly easy if you know how to remove the old one. However, you have to wait a bit in order the new cover is available to service centers

If you have the necessary tools to open it carefully without doing any damage there is no way to detect that the phone is opened. There is not any waranty seal or so. But if you are unfamiliar with this let the service do it for you. I believe that Nokia 8210 where I had the X-press on covers it was more "dangerous" to change the covers than the t68 is although the latest has 4 screws. I mean that in the second case you cannot place wrong the cover whereas in the Nokia 8210 and also in 8310 it is very easy to put it wrong. I don't indent to change the cover, hoever, just because of a logo change. I preffer to change if a scratch came to the small class.
Thanx!
