> How to do a master reset?
Bookmark topic
I the phone's software is so jammed, that it is no longer possible to access the menus, how do you perform a master reset of the phone? Removing the battery and leaving it out a couple of hours doesn't help. The phone is an almost brand new k750.

Menu ---> Settings----> Master reset-----> Reset all.
This will turn your phone to factory settings.

Before you do a master reset be aware that it resets your phone to factory settings- I saw a thread that someone had done a reset and lost his or her bookmarks and blaming to the K700i.

No. After resetting is completed it will ask for phone lock code if you have set one.

In order to do reset, the phone will ask for phone lock code. If you didn't change the initial one it is 0000
This is what is mentiond in the manual:
1- Settings--> the General Tab--> Master Reset.
2- Reset settings or -->Reset all.
3- Yes to continue
4- Enter the phone lock code (0000 or the new code if you have changed it) -->OK.

Hey, nobody clearly understood what I wrote! The phone is so jammed that it isn't possible to reach any menu. Turning the phone on, it prompts for PIN code, then it displays the desktop wallpaper for about 0.5 seconds, then the display becomes white for 5 seconds, then the display gets black for 5 seconds, then the desktop reappears for 0.5 seconds, then the display becomes white, and so on forever. There is never a chance to ever press a MENU button, and even less chance to get down the menus to the reset command. I'm looking for some kind of hardware reset, like a button, or two terminals to short-circuit etc.

The best thing to do is to try an online update from the

website.

Give it to a service center and get it done, coz with your details I dought that doing a master reset would solve the problem. There must be some java application causing the problem or it might be an unstable firmware-
So give it to a SE service center-
