> Live 8 gets over 26.4 million texts

Apparently Live 8 on Saturday got 26.4 million text messages soundly breaking the previous record of 5.8 million held by American Idol (the US version of Pop Idol). Although there's been little else in the news in recent days in the UK, its been told that US news channels haven't given't the Make Poverty History campaign a huge amount of coverage.So nothing new by the americans there then to further a good cause.

mmmm.....yeh but that so called animal is is actually a puppet and not real..I did post a thread earlier to try and explain to people that the video is fake and is supposed to be joke..but seems like no one is getting the joke!

Its good how most people contributed in some way to this noble cause.every little does indeed help,specially in this case...now lets hope something good comes out from this at G8,but somehow i doubt it with Bush sitting at the table.
