Hi

Just got a P910 and want to move certain bits over from my old P900

For my contacts, I guess I can just reload them from Outlook using my cradle.

For free software like Agile Messenger and Opera, again I can just reload those

However...

Is it possible to send / save all my ISP connections on my P900 to the P910? I dont want to have to recreate all my email accounts!
I backed up my P900, so if I restored that onto my p910, would that work? probably not...

Also, WHY THE HELL is it not possible to move ALL your contacts from the phones memory to the SIM card? It's crazy... you can only do it one-by-one..!

Cheers, L

The easiest way to move the contacts is by bluetoothing the whole of the phonebook folder. It takes seconds and is easily done.
You cant use the backup and and restore from a P900 to a P910i.

Thanks for that

How do I bluetooth the contacts from the phone with the sim in it to the p910 which wont switch on without a sim in it, if you see what I mean?

cheers

That could be a problem. Didnt think of that one as I have loads of sims lying around. You do need to have a sim in both phones.

Wouldn't Oxygen Phone Manager do the trick of reading your contacts from the p900 and writing them back to the p910?
