Hello people
First of all i am one of the biggest SE fan. I run a small unofficial SE fan site for several years now.
10 days ago i bought one of the first shipments of the K750i (unbranded).
The first thing to do was to insert the battery and charge it. The problem was that..the battery cover was stuck and i couldn't open it. Several people tried without being able to open the battery cover. I went to an authorized service center where they had to remove the battery case and the whole back case of the phone.
Problem #2: the left earphone of the handfree makes a buzzing noise on high frequency sounds. This time i went to the shop where i bought the k750 from. They promised me that as soon as they receive handfree for the K750 they will replace my handsfree.
Problem 3(about 1 days later): i discovered that the vibrating alert wasn't working. I went once again to the service center, one day later was fixed.
Today i realised that the bluetooth of the phone is not working properly. The range that covers is only about 40cm. That explains why i couldn't discover any other bluetooth devices while i was searching. I did a test with my hbh-660 and yes...the only way to work is to be almost near K750. When i get away from the phone (30-40cm) the bluetooth conenction drops.
I sent an email to SE Hellas (Greece) where i demand the replacement of the phone. I still haven't heard from them.
Does anyone know where are the Headquarters of SE in Europe? I think Germany. Does anyone have any contact info? (email, fax).
I am getting very upset and desperate with my K750i
thanks in advance

Well, I have to admit that these are too many problems for one guy and one phone. Blame it on bad luck!!! sorry!!!
The battery cover of K750i is really hard to open, but you can make a trick by pushing it down while sliding. Like you, I thought that I have a problem openning the cover but my friend showed me how since SE support taught him before.
Regarding bluetooth headset, I have the same one but with no problems at all. But let me tell you, that the first day I received my headset I threw it away, thinking that I lost 100$. Later on I found out that the problem is not with the headset but with the phone. All I need was to do update to my phone on SE site. With the new update, the phone and the headset are perfect.
Try it and you will not be sorry.
Good Luck since you need it.

The technician on the service point which replaced the cover had to almost break it (and of course damage it) in order to replace it. He tried in front of me with a small screwdriver to "unlock" the cover without a result.
About the bluetooth problem...K750i cant find any bt device which is >30cm from the device.Tried with a K700, T630, hbh-660. The phone is already updated with the latest firmware.
I blame it on bad luck but what would you do if you were in my place? Wouldnt you request a replacement?

Glad I didn`t buy this phone...several mates of mine have similar problems..
No problems whatsoever on my Z800. Reading the press here in Norway, states that future deliverances of K750 has been put on hold, due to all this software issues....All is sold out, and retailers can`t answer when the next shipment is due...
Still, SE pumps the K750 commercial on norwegian tv
But companies who provides flashing/unlocking here in Norway have good days

I've not had any of these problems at all except for the freezing when in standby. Updated the phone and now everythings fine. No problems. I wonder if it's a specific batch that has problems.

So does anyone know where the European SE Headquarters are located? UK? Germany? Any contact info?

The one I use here is in Finland and they are beyond great. Their number is:
+35892992000. They are very helpful and have a connection to SE Sweden.
Hey Pallister, do you love your z800 as much as I love mine? I was torn between my z800 and the s700i, but the 3G put me over the top.

The K series has a history of bad software in the earlier models. So waiting for a later adoption will save you trouble going to the service center.

Did you not read the trouble he is having? Are you recommending that he sit and wait for something magical to happen to his phone? He should get on a phone that is working and demand a replacement. With the history he has had, they will not argue with him.
