Does everything else on the phone work, i.e. make/recieve calls etc.? I presume it comes with everything like manuals, charger, etc.

Have you had the phone apart at all?

Edit: And have you any pictures of it?

the phone still recive calls fine, and is not barred, speaker and mic work fine, it is hard to test the phone much further.

pics later on today.

opened the phone up, no visible damage to motherboard.

How does the LCD connect to the phone - a ribbon and connector arrangement like the T610, or just metal 'prongs' and a connector like many Nokias connect?

So there doesn't appear to be anything missing off the mother board then?

same as k700 and t610 yes. screens are different resolutions though, i t610 lcd would not work, motherboard is perfect.

I know that a T610 screen wouldn't work - just ascertaining how the screen connected to the motherboard! So the mother board connector looks OK and undamaged then?

the screen used to work, then the backlight stopped working, so i took it out to see what was up, since then the screen has not worked at all. it looks fine, no cracks etc.
