Hi.
Any computer hardware or software problems can be posted here. Me and other ever helpful esato members will be delighted to help out if we can.
Please give complete info about the computer though and also describe it well.
Any views on this are always welcome.. . . . . . . All users are invited to help here

Only kidding
Pretty pointless starting a thread for it on Esato though, just wait for PC problems to appear in the 'mobile free zone' forum. It happens quite regularly

Yeah, don't get me wrong, it would be good to have a dedicated pc problems thread, but you have to remember that Esato is a mobile phone forum, not a PC forum.
This of course means that people don't think to look for a PC problems thread, they usually just start a 'HELP!' thread in either the 'mobile phone free' or 'general forums' when they encounter a problem
Also, when threads aren't posted to for a while, they quickly get buried and forgotten about, like the PC helper thread that Govigov started ages ago.
That's the thing about us PC repair guys and gals, nobody wants us until their computer goes wrong

Hmmmm, whether you hate Norton or not, it is about the best way to clone a drive unfortunately.
Did it actually start the cloning process and then fail or wouldn't it start at all? Thing is, there are options to ignore CRC errors and force the clone.
