Hi

I just bought a bluetooth device for my computer to connect my p800 with my computer.

Unfortunately it's not working too well... PC Suit won't connect with my phone... And I don't have any bluetooth options there whatsoever, I only have:
Cable COM1
Unrecognizeable COM 3
USB COM 4

What can I do?

Is there any special bluetooth software I need for my phone. In my opinion the options in the phone are kind of lame, comparing with other phones...

Bye

You dont need any software for your phone.
does your phone pick up the pc when u search for devices?
sounds like you havent installed the bt software correctly on ur pc or the drivers!
another solution, buy a mac....they just.... work!!! lol!

I had poor luck with the PC at first until I realized that no matter what I tried I couldn't override XP's innate bluetooth drivers. All of my problems were caused because although I installed the Widcomm drivers, some semblance of the XP drivers still remained. Needless to say, having multiple drivers for one device never works well.

I just allowed XP to do its thing, and all is well now.

There are at least two threads on this XP/BT issue. Good to hear you got it working now.

Thx alot for all help...

I've one problem left though... "Dial-up Networking Wizard" wont find my phone, eventhough the blue p800 icon appears in the bottom right corner of my computer...

Anyone who has the same problem? Can I use any other program to connect my computer to the internet through my phone (via bluetooth)...?

You need to untick the USB checkbox in link properties:

And then enable the com port in phone monitor options.
After that run the dun wizard and it should work.

Thx again, now the wizard do find my phone...

But of course I got a new problem ...

When I get to the option "choose a modem" the guide wont find one, eventhough my computer installed the p800-modem automaticly..

What can I do?
