Hello everyone,
i have a K750i on vodafone and have had no problems, in fact i love it!! my girlfriend kept stealing my phone to play with it so i ordered her a phone of o2 online. It has arrived and there are no problems of freezing etc as on earlier models. She is having the problem of not recieving delivery reports for text message, even though it is turned ON in the settings. has anyone else had this problem or know of a way to start recieving reports? i have contacted 02 but they were no help at all!
Any ideas please?

02 does not allow delivery reports, sorry.

If you put *0# at the start of the text message you do recieve a delivery report though.

prefix the text of your message with *#0

this has been mentioned many many times here as O2 don't support the delivery reporting in the way that the sony ericsson phones provide it (don't know about other brands)

Has 02 ever commented on delivery reports? Is there a reason why they dont support them?

Apparently their hardware that is used for their sms system is prehistoric and doesnt support standard delivery reports. I think that O2 dont think that it is worth the cost of upgrading their system just for text message delivery reports.
