first thing sorry guys didnt know what section to post these,so if needed can sumbody move it.thanks

right,ive got a SE k750i,had it for 1mth,i dropped it today in my cup of tea!! hahahahah
its insured with 02 on the gold plan!,my questions are these.

1.do i say i dropped it in my tea or not
2.or do i say ive lost it

cos i know insurance and they mess you about,they must have clauses etc!!

also, if its lost you'll need to report it to the police, with most companies req this in terms and conditions to do it within 24hrs of the item being lost or stolen.

It would also be insurance fraud, which is punishable by prison sentence... not worth the risk.

Yes and of lost need to report to the network so they can block the phone to prevent calls...

Tell them the truth and bring the phone, tea cup, saucer and rich tea biscuits with you...

Just tell them the truth. But if telling them the truth will embarass you, then forget about the claims; that is just a little price to pay for a little carelessness.

Early this year, I dropped my Nokia N-Gage in the water while at the beach, the phone has packed up now, but I just decided not to pursue the claims even though I insured it with other personal household properties, unless I twist the story, which I don't want to do.
