Hello All

Please go easy on me as this is my first post!

Here is my problem....

I got a K750i from phones for you unbranded and unlocked on a voda contract.

After 32 very happy days the camera just stopped working (it would flash up then go)

I took it into the shop to get "sorry it's past 28 days we will have to send it off"

As i could not be without a phone i said no i would like a replacement handset! Too which i got a no, even after stateing my rights!!!

Any how phoned Vodaphone and they sent i new one out to me next day! which was nice but....

1. It has vodaphone all over it menus etc
2. I can't use the MP3's i saved off the old phone!
3. It refuse's to work with the SE update servce!!

Please any help would be great!!!

DJ

yea it is vodaphone branded. you'll have to use davinci to debrand it. do a search.

OKAY
I have had a look into this and wanted to knoe will this give me...

1. a normal menu system/layouts/shortcuts/activty key
2. use MP3's as ringtones without need for DRM
3. get rid of the voda shutdown screen etc..

Many thanks DJ

if u use davinci to chnage to generic settings then yes to all three
chnage the cda at the same time to generic uk too and u can still use the update service on SEUS,
Read the topic "debranding now possible with davinci" s(something like that!) for loads of help
Sorted my vodafone 750 out a treat, got a shiny new black case on it today too!
