HID= Human Interface Device

Dunno if the door oening stunt would work..although IR technology in phones is already being used for ATM access and credit card transactions in some select outlets in mumbai, india

for example: i can use mom's s700i to control windows media player or i can control the mouse with the fone. thats the Human Interface Device. its just like a keyboard or sth....
opening doors is technically pretty easy to make and to use. but, practically its hard to find a electric motor thats strong enuff to open the door without damaging sth... and its nearly impossible to find a stand-alone BT device which will receive the signals of fone to open the door....
