As usual my mobile operator shows the name of the place on my mobile screen. But is there a way to know someone else place. Is there any software that can do this. I'm sure many would like to do this.

Imagine two persons at different locations using different sim cards. Logically which software of a cellphone can catch the location for each other, unless the service providers are involved?

Aren't the mobiles that are wi-fi and/or GPS enabled capable of doing this?
