> P910 not living up to my needs
Bookmark topic
I brought the p910 as soon as it came out with my operator (10 monthsish ago now), hoping that it would satisfy my needs, but alas it hasn't and i've gone back to using my old T610.
I brought the p910 mainly for email access and to syconrize my schedule with my pc. But i've found that to compose emails its far too slow (the pen entry system is slow, the qwerty keyboard a joke). Using bluetooth to syncronise is just one large headache. The worse thing of all is the size, its just constantly uncomfortable in my pocket.
Is there any phone out there which is
1. has a small form factor
2. has a quick method of composing emails
3. syncs easily with outlook.
Cameras e.t.c. i could care less about.
I've looked into possible replacements, the SPV C550 looks tempting but with normal T9 input is email composing going to be fast enough? T9 on the p910 is quick, but on the T610 it's painfully slow.
The nokia 6822 looked like another possible bet, but theres no way to automatically check for email...
surely theres a phone out there which fits my small criteria?

Learn to use handwriting recognition and then the P910i will live up to standards

The Pxx0 knows way too much more than just satisfying your described needs. You apparently need to have some more simple device indeed.

Its same with me too. I thought p910 would easily replace my ipaq 2215 and t610. But i was wrong. Its just too slow and too less app support as compared to pocket pcs

Er why not use the cradle supplied to sync I use my P910i for business and one you have set up the sync options it syncs very nearly a quickly as my old IPAQ and I do not know of a device that sysncs much quicker than that (Incidently my old T610 takes much longer to sync than my P910i so maybe you have a problem?!)
RE Text input a mate of mine from Finland turned out to be a developer for NOKIA ( I did not know till I told him SE made the best phones on the planet you should have seen his face! if you read this Hi Tapio!) He was amazed how quickly I could input text using the stylus so much so he commented on it and I can out input most texters so not sure where you see a problem? a tip learn the letter shapes then do not look at the screen whilst writing I can then enter text about twice as fast as well looking at the screen I do not know why but I beat anyone using a key system. From what I am told the windows based phones are great if you dont mind rebooting two or three times a day! have you considered a blackberry my mate has one he loves it I personaly find it much slower then my P910i both in operation and in inputting text

really loving my 910 now that I've got it balckberry enabled. Email is so easy and handwriting recognition is def the way to go - like all things it takes a bit of practice but once you've cracked it then jobsaguddun!

If email is your main cup of tea, why not go for the blackberry series... careful, it may get you addicted to it.
Input wise, its qwerty keypad is definitely bigger and more responsive than the P910. You need push mail from your network, though...
