About five white people of middle age including one woman, have gone to a gurudwara in erith in the borough of bexley, and attacked it with petrol bombs and iron rods.

It has been reported that they threw 4 petrol bombs at the temple, after firstly breaking the windows of the front of the building of the temple, with iron rods.

One of the petrol bombs was thrown near some empty gas cylinders that were in the temple kitchen.

The police were called but the perpertrators fled in a car, after being challenged by the general public around the temple.

I am also a Sikh and this news makes me sick, it goes to show how stupid some people really are, and by bombing our temples its not going to achive anything is it? if anything it will make it worse. Timberlands has a good point, what goes around comes around.

Sounds like the work of the BNP or could be just a internal fued between sikhs and hindus or muslims.

I guess it was expected. Sikhs were targeted in the Us too after the 9/11 tragedy. How ignorant can people be!! And i don't believe there is an "internal feud" between hindus and sikhs.
