> Ring Melodies as message alert
Bookmark topic
To all sonyericsson T68i users,
Please check this web site and your Phone....
Why is it stated in the sonyericsson web site, under features... ring melodies can be used as message alert? but the truth is, it cant....
I have a T68i unit with R2B firmware and I think there is a new version (R2E or R2F).
Is it possible that this said features is included in the new firmware version.

I have a T65 and yes, I was able to use my ring melodies as message alert. i actually found out about it accidentally. I just assigned a ring tone to a person (I think you do that under Edit Contact in Phone book), then use "tone" as your message alert and voila! Ring tone as message alert when that person sends you a text message. Hope it also works for your T68i
