Hmm...I got confused as to all the software downloaded
I found the following in SE website. What's the usage?

Anybody knows whats new in 1.7.7?
I Had an issue with uppgrading from the old one....it didn't work....had to uninstall and reinstall the new one.....grrr!

first try checking which COM port is used by the phone monitor(windows) then open FMA, click options and re-check if its using the same COM port.....

To organize your phone Phonebook, do you need to interface with Outlook first, or could you just go through FMA and bypass Outlook all together???..
In other words, Could FMA be a standalone phone organizer of the K750i???

yes, you dont need outlook, but fma doesnt work well with K750 at the moment, has lots of bugs.
A better sollution for K750 is myphoneexplorer. Works much better than fma.
