Yeah i've heard about that one, something to do with concentration levels being lower as having to divide attention to conversations and driving.

i think the theory is that while on the phone part of your attention is subconciously diverted to visualising the person you are talking to, whereas your brain doesn't do that when the person is in the car with you because you can see them.

Naturally. Those who use headset they also know it. In practice it attracts attention while driving. This message was posted from a WAP device

Please don´t listen to all stupid reports out there.

sure you loose consentration level when talking in phone.
But if you have headset you have one hand more free to use to shift gear or turn sharp. So please don´t say that it´s as safe to drive with out handsfree as it to drive with one.

Good for you....nevertheless, usage of mobiles while driving, with or without handsfree kits, should be banned.

I think it depends on the user, what he concentrates most on. Like me, I concentrate mostly on the driving and little on the phone.

But I guess most people concentrate more on the phone.

And banning even handsfree's is just stupid.

When im driving i always concentrate 100% on the road....but attention can very easily be distracted when you get texts or calls....regardless of handsfree's ect.
