I use Seven to go get push e-mail to my Sony Ericsson P800 and P910i. However, it seems like I can't receive text messages (SMS) when GPRS is activated. Is that always the case with these phones or do you think it is a software issue?

Guess I'm the only one with this problem?

Hmm.. I recall that I've heard something about a constant GPRS connection sometimes seems to block incoming and for that matter outgoing SMS. However that was back in the days of p800 and p900 so it should have been fixed with a fw upgrade since that?
Have you checked under the Settings > Connections > Messaging accounts > SMS that you have the right SMS service number and that the connection type is set to "GSM preferred" and not GPRS?
I my self have a P900 with the latest FW and I have OneBridge Live Connect pushmail from my office. My GPRS is always active and I don't have any probs with SMS. Only thing is when I'm sending a MMS when I have to kill the connection prior to sending.
