macro mode is for using when taking photos of up close images. It allows for better focusing and clearer pictures ( no more blurred up close photos)

If you take an object closer than 30-50cm, then you must leave it on. Half-press the button, after it focuses, then full-press the button. You'll get a clear-sharp image. If you take an object farther than 30-50cm, turn the macro mode off.

well anything under 30cm (1 foot) should have macro mode on.

How close can you get with macro mode? I'm not sure mine's working properly because it can't seem to focus well when shooting objects at close range. here's an example:

hi, take a look at the 'post you k750 pictures' thread and look at some macro shots that yours truly and many others posted. i think the shortest distance i shot is 2 inches away from the subject.

Just simply turn the macro mode on, then half-press the camera button 'till it finishs focusing on the object, then full-press the button to capture sharp image.

Here is an example.

Sharp, isn't it?

Hi Amras,

That's what I did with my picture of the fingernail. The camera stops focusing and the green circle at the upper left corner isn't blinking anymore, but the picture comes out like that.

Have you turned the macro mode on?

Or it may be caused by taking it too close.
